What truly elevates Goh Zha Lang is its porridge. Known as a soul-soothing staple, their porridges are served with unlimited refills upon request, making every meal feel generous and fulfilling. Patrons frequently praise the braised pork belly—tender, flavorful, and slow-cooked to perfection—alongside other delicacies such as salted fish with salted egg that bursts with umami richness.

They moved from Taman Century to this new place here. The other branch in Taman Sentosa is still in operation. Clean and bright new restaurant here. Their porridge and all the dishes are still as good, maintaining their standard!

It was our first visit here with my two kids, aged 4 and 6. To my surprise, they loved the food a lot and even had extra portions, which is not something that happens often. That also means Mommy got a bonus moment of peace while they were happily enjoying their meal. Aw , I will surely be back again, with the kids for the comforting food!

We had such a great dinner here. The porridge was so comforting, and there were plenty of side dishes to choose from. It really felt like a home-cooked meal. The braised pork was easily the star of the night, super tender, full of flavour, and just melts in your mouth. We also loved the salted fish with salted egg. It had that rich, umami punch that made it really stand out. And the fried chicken? Just as good as it looked, crispy, juicy, and really tasty. Everything we tried felt made with care. The food was top quality, and the service was genuinely warm and friendly. We enjoyed every bit of our meal and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you’re after something hearty and satisfying.

An authentic Taiwanese porridge restaurant that I've been patronizing since my schooling days! This is their new branch, and I'm happy to say the taste remains as good as ever. Their signature sweet potato porridge is superb, just like before. The dishes come in a standard size, which I find reasonable. Great place for a comforting and nostalgic meal!
